Prior to opening, I worked with the owners of the butchery to design a versatile, contemporary logo that concisely represented the store's style, products, and vision. The elegant logo is a result of a systematic ideation and consultation process with store owners. While designing the store signage, I considered the location and neighbouring stores to ensure a brand that integrated well into the community, yet was still distinct and enticing to customers. Wellington Butchery's brand identity is positioned as trendy, sophisticated, and honest.
In addition to developing Wellington Butchery's logo and signage, I created a responsive website which works to anchor the brand's online presence. The website has a focus on original 'foodie' imagery, and interesting fun facts about products to encourage customers to return both to the website and store—facilitating brand loyalty. During COVID-19, I helped expand the website to an online store, ensuring business could continue amongst restrictions.
