During the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, restaurants were disproportionately affected by lockdowns and a decline in in-person patronage. As part of my internship at the Canadian Chamber of Commerce, I undertook the task of developing the brand identity for the 'Our Restaurant' campaign. The primary goal of this initiative was to increase public awareness regarding challenges confronted by locally-owned restaurants, while also educating Canadian consumers on the ways they could still show their support for these vital establishments. The logo that I developed worked to evoke patriotism, effectively communicating that 'Canada Loves Restaurants.'
