As a First Year Major Industrial Design Studio Project, my lateral thinking was tested when I was faced with the challenge of conceptualizing an organically shaped single-purpose kitchen tool. This tool had to be ergonomic, intuitive, and immediately clear in its use. I developed a tool that facilitates scooping a kiwi using an innovative slanted design. I created both an aluminum works-like model and a foam looks-like model to effectively proof my concept.
